Muse was officially formed in 1994 when they won a local battle of the bands contest and decided to change their name. This English band was originally a goth band called Rocket Baby Dolls with lead vocalist and guitarist Matt Bellamy, bassist Chris Wolstenholme and drummer Dominic Howard.
